ARTember at Iron Horse Park
Saturday/Sunday September 28/29, 2013.

Iron Horse Park and the Alberta Model Engineering Society will again be participating in the ARTember events on Saturday September 28 and Sunday September 29, 2013. Between 11AM and 4PM Iron Horse Park will be hosting FREE train journeys for all. In addition to the ARTember participation, these free journeys are also being held in thanks to the people of Airdrie and visitors from surrounding communities who have supported us over the years. Here are some of the activities which were hosted at the park:

On both days, Saturday and Sunday September 28 and 29, 2013:

  • Free journeys will be available between 11AM to 4PM.
  • Throughout the day tables will be set up in the station where children (of all ages) may take part in an Art Activity.

Saturday September 28, 2013 ONLY:

  • Saturday is also designated as our "Steam Day". On that day we will encourage our members to bring and operate their steam locomotives in demonstration for the public.
